Dreams//Visions//And the Like

On Wednesday I had a job interview that went rather well. As in, pending the signatures of a few more higher up, I got hired.

I'm super excited, but I also know that there is a slight possibility that I won't get the job. I mean, Mr. CEO could decide he's having a bad day and push my paperwork to the bottom of the sea.

Either way, I'm good. Before I woke up the day of the interview, I had this dream. Or maybe a vision. I had a "formula" for how to get this job, and to make it I took one cup of some fluffy mixture of something and mixed it with water. However, and here's where I say it's more of a vision, floating above the mixing bowl was the number 145.

And right before I woke up, someone in the dream said Psalm 145. So I read it.

Enter awesomeness: (vv. 15-19)

The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it.

When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.

The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.

The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.
He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

I'm not afraid to admit that I am that needy.

How about you?
